RESEARCH OF CONSTRUCTION MARKET AND BUILDING MATERIALS 

In the construction materials industry the most representative examples of our research methods are the two areas:

MEASUREMENT OF PRODUCT MARKETS

This specific type of research is usually aimed to determine the main quantitative parameters of the market for the specific group of goods. From the methodological side there are three characteristics of these researches:

- Close relationship between fieldwork and analysis of secondary sources
- Direct research on many different samples simultaneously
- Application of general equilibrium model of trade flows to describe the characteristics of the market

 TESTING FOR POSITIONING PRODUCTS

These studies focus on determining optimal marketing model for the product. They are a combination of qualitative research (focus group) and quantitative research. The latest are usually conducted on the main sample consisting of target customers and additional samples consisting for example the leaders of opinion. An attempt to quantitative research is selected depending on the target group for the product, but its size is determined based on the same assumptions about the variability of attitudes.
